Paul Forsyth

Paul Forsyth, the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Apache Advisors, is a senior and proven leader in the finance and investment industry with over 30 years experience.
Paul established the Forsyth Partners Group in 1991 and was Chief Executive between 1991 and 2007. Originally operating from the UK, the Group was latterly headquartered in Dubai and became the first global company to establish its holding company in DIFC.
The Forsyth Partners Group became a world leader in fund-of-funds portfolio management, underpinned by rigorous analytical research. It developed a diverse range of investment products covering all asset classes – equities, bonds, commodities, real estate and private equity as well as a range of innovate hedge fund-of-fund products. The Forsyth Partners Group developed an internationally recognised brand. It maintained sales and distribution capability in Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore), the Middle East, South Africa, Switzerland and South America, whilst retaining its investment management, research and operational centre in the UK.
Prior to establishing Forsyth Partners, Paul was managing director of Fidelity Investments (CI) Ltd, where he restructured Fidelity’s Jersey offshore funds into a new Luxembourg UCITS and handled the move of the operational capability to Luxembourg. Paul had previously spent 3 years in Fidelity’s international business division in London (focusing on the company’s entry into the French, Australian and Canadian markets). He also established Fidelity’s stock broking business. Previously, Paul spent four years at Rothschild in London having earlier qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.
Paul has a MSc in Management & Business Studies from Warwick University and a BA (Hons) in Economics & Accounting from Newcastle University. He has regularly chaired and presented papers at investment conferences around the world and appeared frequently on CNBC, local TV and radio. Paul has regularly contributed in the financial press.
